Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has approved the project of 41.8 crore to increase connectivity in Sector 80. The initiative involves upgrading a 2.3 km stretch connecting NH-8 to NH-8, including transforming it into a six-lane car with additional infrastructure such as footpaths, service rhodes and drynesses. The project aims to reduce the traffic congestion and support the rapid urban development of the region.
The first managed by the Public Works Department, road redevelopment faced delays due to encroachment and administrative obstacles. Haryana Shahari Vikas Adhikari (HSVP) recent efforts to clarify the barriers have paved the way for GMDA to move forward with construction. Records for advanced road residents and commercial vehicles are expected to improve, especially by benefiting them in 78, 79 and 80 areas.
Better infrastructure is estimated to promote real estate market in Sector 80, attract investment and increase the quality of life for residents. Developers are already monitoring the area for new projects, indicating a positive trend for the development of the region.
